whew.

Life has been a bit overwhelming the last couple weeks (what's new?).  This is the last full week of school. I don't have any finals, but I have a ton of projects to finish for clinic and my nonprofits class, and my final trial for Trial Advocacy.  On top of that, I have my upper-level to write.  Yeah, that's 30 pages of which I have not written a single word.  No big deal.  Just have to make it to next Friday.

Now, then...here's a quick 5 things that make me happy right now:

1.  This video.  I love it.  And I wish everyone felt the same way I do about marriage equality.

2.  It's officially Christmastime.

3. It snowed.  It was here, now it's gone, but it will be back.  And I love it.
[Mama and me.]
4.  This song seems a little more special to me this year.

5.  The Gamecocks beat Clemsux.  Hell yeah!

Peace out, boy scout.

November.

It's November.  I completely missed October.  Such is life.

Life.  My wanderlust is cured for the moment.  I have two huge trips coming up.  In December, I'm heading to the Seattle area for a New Year's Eve wedding and to see the boy's hometown.  And a short 7 days later, I'm off to Hawaii.  Yes, Hawaii.  A real week-long, somewhere warm, beaches and fruity drinks kind of vacation.  Just have to make it through the end of the semester!

Law.  October was rough.  I had a monster paper, a midterm, Breast Cancer Awareness Week for WLSA, Student Gov. duties, Trial Ad assignments, and more.  And somewhere in there was Fall Break which was insanely too short since I spent way more time working than I thought I would!  Oh well, gotta work hard for the money.  Especially with the trips coming up!

Luck.  Things are off to a great start with The Center for Girls' Leadership.  People are so receptive and it makes me feel like such a lucky girl!  Also, have you tried a Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate yet?  No?  What are you waiting for?!  It's divine.  In other luck news, I sprained my ankle last week.  At work.  Dancing.  Not the best story in the world, right?  But, I feel so lucky because not being able to move made me appreciate that I can move.  So I've started working out again this week (low intensity because of the "hang-gliding" injury) and I feel great!  Here's hoping I can keep it up!
