Hi there! My name is Alex and welcome to Life. Law. Luck.!
I carved out this little area on the interwebs in 2010. At the end of my first year of law school, I was in the middle of the law journal write-on competition and bored to tears. I needed a creative outlet and thus, Life. Law. Luck. was born. Fast forward 3 years, I made it out of law school alive and this little blog is still here and growing!
Around here, you are going to find a little of this, a little of that, but all things I love. Stick around and you'll see a little of everything!
I live with my man, K, and together we are putting in the blood sweat and tears to make this house a home. I'm a native Minnesotan, he's from the Northwest, and together we share a love of travel, cooking, and DIY.
We met in law school and it was love at first sight for us two legal eagles. During the summer of 2012, in what K describes as the "worst experience on earth," we studied for the Minnesota bar exam. With a little luck, we both passed!
While K is following a more traditional legal career, I am a leadership junkie. In 2011, I started The Center for Girls' Leadership, a nonprofit organization that provides leadership development to middle and high school girls. It is my passion and I am so lucky that I am able to do what I do.
