Of course I was up early to watch the beautiful royal wedding this morning.  Studying for finals can take a break for the wedding of the year!  Princess Catherine looked absolutely stunning in a dress very reminiscent of Grace Kelly.  Simply gorgeous.  Did you watch the wedding festivities?

amos lee.

I have been a huge fan of Amos Lee for a long time now.  My brother put me on to him years ago.  I first saw him play in South Carolina when he opened for Elvis Costello and Bob Dylan.  Since then, I've seen him play the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater, the Varsity Theater, and the State Theater.  And now, my dreams are coming true.  Amos Lee will be playing Basilica Block Party this summer.  I am so stoked.

The past two weeks have been hectic.  I had two big events, my appellate brief, and campaigning for student government.  Add in the stress of finding a job, exorbitant gas prices ($3.89!), and trying to fit in time with friends and family and I am exhausted.  


I spent yesterday taking my annual Masters nap.  There is something so soothing about listening to the coverage from Augusta.  Today, back at it!  Only two more weeks of school and then it's finals - ugh.  Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
