Road Trip to Hackensack

We (the boy, the folks, and me) hopped in the car today for a quick road trip up to Hack to see the progress on the new cabin.  It was wonderful to get back up north but freezing.  4 degrees.  Woohoo winter!!  It made me so excited for summer, when we'll trade ice houses for pontoons on The Mighty Birch!

Hawaii Highlights

We just got back from a fabulous vacation to Hawaii.  I'm exhausted, but so happy the entire trip went by smoothly.  Here are my highlights of the trip in no particular order:

[Perfect Bucket List]

On Saturday, the boy and I head to Hawaii.  I am beyond excited!  

To Do List:

• Eat fish tacos. (preferably from a local dive restaurant)
• Walk the beach.
• Catch at least one sunrise and multiple sunsets.
• Watch the surfers.
• Visit Pearl Harbor.
• Nap on the beach.

Pretty simple list.  I'm just looking forward to a relaxing and restful vacation!
